If you post anything that...

1) has nothing to do with paintball and

2) is selling, pushing or offering something...

...not only will all of your posts and topics be deleted, but you will also be suspended from the forum for a year. Thanks.

I know a lot of forums are starting to institute the pictures of letters that have to be typed in for a new account. I don't remember if this forum does, but it does seem to help REDUCE spam some on those that have implemented it, since spambots can't sign up for accounts.

Captcha? It displays random characters that are obscured by either lines or dithering and that must be typed in, so an actual human is required to make an account. But I think the bulk of our spammers are real people, and I kind of enjoy deleting their posts and blocking their accounts.

Yeah, Captcha is probably it. I would think it would get old after a while having to keep up with the spammers. Of course, by the same token, I would think constantly spamming forums would get old for people.
