Sorry for the earlier crude comment, but you are dissing a good first gun. The Spyder Sonix comes standard with the basics: bottomline setup with gas-thru grip, low pressure chamber, double trigger, and is side cocking. However, the MAIN feature that makes the Sonix good is its combination of powerfeed and anti-double feed. I'm pretty sure that anti-double feed is self-explanitory. But powerfeed eliminates virtually all blowback inside the elbow by giving a small hole for the excess air to escape through inside the elbow. This combination adds up to be a gun that you can shoot around 7 bps with on a standard hopper, with pretty nice accuracy. The only problem with the Sonix is that the velocity staggers around a bit if you don't either have a regulator or nitrous. Both of which are fairly expensive upgrades if you're just starting out. Overall, IMO the Sonix is the best gun to start out with if you can find one for a good price (i got ripped off when I bought mine).
